The largest community-driven platform for builders in Nepal. A unified ecosystem featuring real-time networking, resource hubs, and event management tools designed for the next generation of innovators.

NepQube started from a simple observation: the Nepali tech community was fragmented. Developers, designers, and founders had no single place to connect, share resources, and collaborate.
The platform was built to unify the ecosystem. A real-time networking layer, a community-curated resource hub, and event management tools — all in one place. No more scattered Slack groups, no more missed opportunities.
I designed and built the full platform: the React front end, the Node.js API layer, and the PostgreSQL database that holds the community together. Every line of code, from the networking feed to the event RSVP system, runs through a single architecture.
Within 3 months of launch, NepQube crossed 1,500 active users and 400+ successful project listings. It became the go-to hub for Nepali builders looking to connect, learn, and ship.
Two ideas shaped NepQube. One: a single source of truth for the community. Every builder, event, and resource lives in one place with real-time updates. No more fragmented communication, no more outdated directories.
Two: built by the community, for the community. The resource hub is curated by members. Events are listed by organizers. Projects are showcased by their creators. The platform amplifies what's already there — it doesn't try to manufacture it.
The platform is built around three core surfaces. The networking feed lets members post updates, ask questions, and share wins — like a real-time town square for the community. The resource hub curates tools, tutorials, and opportunities, all tagged and searchable. Events manages meetups, hackathons, and conferences from RSVP to check-in.
Under it sits a real-time architecture powered by WebSockets for the feed, a PostgreSQL-backed resource directory with full-text search, and an event engine that handles scheduling, reminders, and capacity management.

Sajan Poudel is a full-stack developer and designer from Pokhara, Nepal. He builds things for the web — front end to back end to deployment — using React, Next.js, Node, Postgres, and Docker.
NepQube is his community platform for Nepali builders, built from scratch and running live. He's currently available for freelance projects and full-time roles.
